After the barrages, Magen David Adom (MDA) announced that there had been no reports of casualties and teams had been dispatched to scan various locations for wounded.
Police have also begun scanning areas to locate sites where debris from the rocket interception may have hit, Israel Police said.
During the evening barrage in central Israel at approximately 6:00 p.m., one projectile was intercepted by the Israel Air Force, the IDF said. It added that another projectile hit an open area after sirens sounded in the central areas of Sharon and Menashe.
Additionally, during the barrage that targeted northern Israel, the IDF said that two projectiles that crossed into Israel hit open areas.
Earlier barrages
During a previous barrage on Sunday afternoon, the IDF struck a rocket launcher in Lebanon that fired projectiles toward Israel's Haifa area, Israel's military announced.
Later, during another barrage, at 6:00 p.m., the IDF said that two projectiles that crossed into Israel from Lebanon landed in open areas.
This follows the IDF announcement that between 3:30 pm and 3:35, approximately 25 projectiles were identified as crossing into Israel from Lebanon following the sirens that sounded in the areas of Western Galilee, Upper Galilee, and Haifa area.
Additionally, the IDF noted that the sirens that sounded at approximately 3.45 p.m. in the Western Galilee area were determined to be a false identification.
Israel has been targeted with constant rockets fired into the country since Sunday morning. According to an evening Maariv report, approximately 200 projectiles were used throughout the day.
During a morning barrage, Magen David Adom said that six people were wounded in Petah Tikva and were then evacuated to hospitals for treatment.
