An Israeli foreign ministry official told Reuters on Sunday that the body of an Israeli citizen murdered in the United Arab Emirates would hopefully be repatriated to Israel on Monday.
The body of Rabbi Zvi Kogan, 28, was found on Sunday after he was reported missing on Thursday.
Asked when the body would be repatriated to Israel, the official said "hopefully tomorrow but it is not confirmed."
The UAE said it had arrested three suspects in connection with the killing.
