Two wounded by shrapnel after Hezbollah fires rocket barrage into northern Israel
MDA announced that response teams were en route to search areas where reports of rocket crashes were received.
Two men sustained shrapnel wounds after Hezbollah launched a rocket barrage from Lebanon, triggering sirens in the Upper and Western Galilee on Monday morning.
Approximately 20 rockets were identified crossing into Israeli territory, the military reported.
Israeli emergency medical service Magen David Adom announced that response teams were en route to search areas where reports of rocket crashes were received.
Later, MDA stated that paramedics were providing medical treatment to a 60-year-old man who received shrapnel wounds to the head. The man was conscious at the time.
Paramedics also treated a 75-year-old man who was moderately wounded by shrapnel and was evacuated to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.
An additional crash was identified in Nahariya, with shrapnel hitting a vehicle and lightly wounding the driver within, the Israel Police announced.
