"Team Tequila," the Shin Bet's counterterrorism squad was reportedly at the scene.
Security forces detained a driver from east Jerusalem near Latrun interchange on Sunday after receiving information that a terrorist cell had infiltrated.
The driver was stopped during a security check and was detained on suspicion of transporting illegal residents. He was not suspected of involvement in a terrorism-related incident, the Israel Police reported.
In response to the security warning, communities in the Latrun area temporarily locked down.

Police rule out terror suspicion
“Police detained a vehicle for inspection near the Latrun interchange following an alert that was received,” the Israel Police said. “The police set up checkpoints along traffic routes west of Sha’ar Hagai in response to the warning about a suspicious vehicle.”
“The suspicious vehicle and its driver were detained by officers near the Latrun interchange, with the vehicle being examined by a bomb disposal expert to rule out any suspicions,” the statement said.
