This comes after an additional round of arrests in the West Bank on Monday.

Security forces arrested 18 wanted persons overnight and confiscated weapons across the West Bank, the military said on Tuesday.

The IDF added that in Tulkarm, troops eliminated a terrorist in close-quarters combat and were continuing to operate to thwart terror activities in the area.

Palestinian news agency WAFA said a man named Fathi Saeed Odeh Salem died after snipers shot him. It added that Israeli forces allegedly prevented ambulance crews from reaching Salem by opening fire on him.

In Nablus, the troops shot at a terrorist who attempted to flee and thwarted him.

WAFA also said Israeli bulldozers demolished infrastructure in the camp, including homes, shops, part of the walls of Al-Salam mosque, which they barricaded off, and part of the camp's water network.
