An Israeli man was killed in a snowmobile accident at a ski resort in Azuga, Romania, local media announced Tuesday evening.
According to the news outlet Libertatea, the 30-year-old man lost control of his vehicle and fell five meters into a riverbed. He was rescued by local authorities and taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.
Israel's Foreign Ministry later noted its representatives were aiding in returning the man's body to Israel, Israeli media reported.
