At least two people were killed and two others wounded the strike on Tayr Debba, the Lebanese health ministry said in a statement.

The Israeli air force struck several Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon on Friday who were spotted loading weapons onto a truck, the IDF announced.

"The IDF continues to operate in accordance with the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon," the military stressed in their statement. "The IDF remains deployed in southern Lebanon and will operate against any threat to the State of Israel and its citizens."

The Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Mayadeen news outlet initially reported that a drone targeted a car on the outskirts of the town Tayr Debba in southern Lebanon on Friday, shortly followed by an explosion that was heard in the town of Ayta ash-Shaab.

The Hezbollah-owned Al Manar outlet also reported that Israel had conducted a bombing in Ayta ash-Shaab.

At least two people were killed and two others wounded the strike on Tayr Debba, the Lebanese health ministry said in a statement, attributing the strike to Israel.

Other recent attacks of IDF striking terrorists loading weapons

On Thursday, in an official statement, the IDF reported on a similar incident where Hezbollah was loading weapons onto a vehicle in a military compound in south Lebanon. The IDF struck this vehicle as well.

It remains unclear if Israel will fully withdraw from Lebanon by the end of the 60-day ceasefire on January 26.
