Iraq sends drones to northern Israel - report

Alarms sounded in Beit She'an after a suspected drone attack from Iraq, claimed by the Islamic Resistance, following rocket fire.

For the first time since October 2023, alarms were heard in the Beit She'an area in the north due to a suspected drone attack from Iraq, Israeli media reported on Sunday evening.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq terrorist group said on Sunday evening it had launched a drone attack at a target in the Jordan Valley.

Israel has inflicted a series of harsh blows on the Lebanese terror organization that the group previously "could not imagine, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized during his Sunday video address, adding that Israel would continue to take whatever action necessary to restore its security. 

The video address came amid the escalating tensions between Israel and Hezbollah after Israel struck Beirut on Friday, killing Radwan Force chief Ibrahim Aqil. Hezbollah, in response, launched multiple rocket and drone attacks toward Israel throughout Sunday morning, to which Israel responded with airstrikes. 

"In the last few days, we inflicted on Hezbollah a sequence of blows that they could not imagine. If Hezbollah did not understand the message, I promise you - it will understand the message," Netanyahu said.

Crashes from Lebanon detected in Menara, fire breaks out in area

Two crashes were detected in Menara in northern Israel, the Upper Galilee Regional Council announced on Sunday. 

As a result, a fire broke out on the spot, but no injuries were reported. Another crash was reportedly detected in agricultural areas between Menara and Misgav Am.

Defense Minister Gallant: Hezbollah has begun to sense Israel's capabilities after attacks

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant visited the Israel Air Force's control and attack centers on Sunday and emphasized his confidence in Israel's ability to defend against the Hezbollah terror group, Israeli media reported.

According to reports, Gallant said he feels as though "Hezbollah began to sense some of our [Israel's] capabilities."

"Our moves will continue until the goal is achieved. We will use everything necessary to fulfill the mission," he reportedly added.
