Sirens sounded in central Israel early on Saturday morning.

The IDF said the rockets crossed into Israel's territory from Lebanon.

Sirens sounded in the Kfar Saba and Ranana areas.

Magen David Adom reported one man aged around 20 was injured in the area of Tira.

North Gaza 'apocalyptic,' everyone at 'imminent risk' of death, warns UN

The situation in the northern Gaza Strip is "apocalyptic" as Israel pursues a military offensive against Hamas terrorists in the area, top United Nations officials warned on Friday.

"The entire Palestinian population in North Gaza is at imminent risk of dying from disease, famine and violence," they said in a statement signed by the acting UN aid chief Joyce Msuya, heads of UN agencies, including UN children's agency UNICEF and the World Food Program, and other aid groups.

IDF commanders lightly wounded in vehicle accident in south Lebanon

IDF Northern Command chief Maj.-Gen. Ori Gordin and IDF Central Command chief Maj.-Gen. Avi Bluth were lightly wounded in a vehicle accident in southern Lebanon, the IDF reported on Friday.

"During an operational patrol in Lebanon, one of the military patrol vehicles overturned. The commander of the Northern Command, Maj.-Gen. Ori Gordin and the commander of the Central Command, Maj.-Gen. Avi Bluth were in the vehicle," the IDF said.

The IDF eliminated Hamas's National Relations head Izz al-Din Kassab on Friday in Khan Yunis, Gaza, who was also one of the last remaining members of the terrorist organization's political bureau still inside the Palestinian enclave.

The strike that killed Kassab was completed based on IDF and ISA intelligence. His assistant Ayman Ayesh was also killed in the strike.

Kamal Kharrazi, an adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader, told pro-Iran broadcaster Al-Mayadeen on Friday that Tehran is likely to increase the range of its ballistic missiles.
