The IDF's 36th Division, in cooperation with special units and military intelligence, dismantled an underground Hezbollah compound hidden under a cemetery in southern Lebanon, the military said on Sunday. 

Command rooms, living quarters, and weapon storage facilities filled with weapons and combat equipment were located by the IDF in the underground command center. 

While operating in the area, soldiers from the Shaldag Unit identified several tunnel shafts leading to the compound, which led to the exposure of the full tunnel.

Hezbollah's artillery commander eliminated by IDF in Blida, southern Lebanon

The IDF eliminated Hezbollah's artillery commander in the Blida area in southern Lebanon, the military said on Sunday. 

In a targeted elimination, the IDF identified the terrorist responsible for artillery and launching anti-tank missiles toward Israeli territory. Along with the elimination, an additional Hezbollah central command post was destroyed.

Strong explosions were heard in southern Damascus, Syria, Israeli media reported, citing Syrian reports. 

Syrian state media claimed that Israel struck a residential building, which has resulted in a number of deaths and injuries, Reuters reported.

Hezbollah fires ten rockets at northern Israel, three people lightly and moderately wounded

Three people were lightly and moderately wounded by an anti-tank missile crashing in Metulla and were evacuated for further medical treatment, Israeli media reported on Sunday.

Approximately ten rockets were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory on Sunday, the military reported. Some of the rockets were intercepted, and the rest fell in open areas.

IDF uncovers Hezbollah training center near UNIFIL post, counters UN claim of operating within post

The IDF reiterated that it seeks to operate against Hezbollah's infrastructure and capabilities to push the group away from southern Lebanon.

As part of the IDF's activity to destroy Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in Lebanon, the IDF operated near a UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) post last Thursday, the military announced on Sunday.

In their statement, the IDF countered claims by stating that engineering vehicles did not enter the UNIFIL position in the area. 

However, it is possible that Blue Line infrastructure was harmed as a result of the operation, the IDF noted.

IDF reveals Hezbollah missile arsenal severely depleted since beginning of operations

The IDF estimates that “80% of Hezbollah’s rocket arsenal within a range of up to 40 kilometers has been destroyed.”

The IDF recently presented data to Israel’s government showing damage to Hezbollah's forces and munitions.

According to the data, over 2,550 Hezbollah terrorists have been killed and more than 5,000 wounded in the conflict. Hezbollah attacks in Israel have killed 110 soldiers and civilians.

The IDF estimates that “80% of Hezbollah’s rocket arsenal within a range of up to 40 kilometers has been destroyed.” Initially, Hezbollah had around 5,000 medium-range rockets, but fewer than 1,000 remain. The group’s stockpile of over 44,000 short-range rockets has also been reduced, with only about 10,000 still operational.
