Three Palestinian residents of Hebron were indicted this week for allegedly forming a terror cell aimed at assassinating National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and his son, the police and Shin Bet announced on Thursday morning.

Investigations revealed that in June 2024, the main suspect, Ismail Ibrahim Awadi, sought to establish a military terror cell, obtain weapons, and create explosive devices for attacks on Israeli security forces.

The IDF intercepted one drone crossing from Lebanon towards the Western Galilee area, the army reported on Wednesday morning.

Fallen shrapnel from the interception fell in the area. However, the IDF noted that no wounded were reported.

US envoy arrives in Israel to try sealing Hezbollah ceasefire

US envoy Amos Hochstein arrived in Israel on Wednesday to try to secure a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah group, Israeli media reported. 

Following his arrival, Hochstein met with Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, and the meeting concluded late on Wednesday evening, according to a KAN News report.
