The IDF on Monday night admitted to firing mistakenly on an International Red Cross facility in Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
The ICRC first reported the incident around 5:00 p.m.
It noted that its building is well identified both physically on the ground and also by pre-planning with IDF commanders.

"To all residents of the Gaza Strip who are in the Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun areas - this is an early and final warning before an attack," he said. "The terrorist organizations are once again launching rockets from areas populated by civilians. This area has been warned several times in the past. For your safety, you must immediately move west to the absorption centers known to you."
The warning came after two rockets were launched from Gaza before being intercepted by the IDF.

Abraham added that he was beaten, bleeding, and wounded in his head and stomach. Abraham also added that Ballal had since disappeared and that it's "unclear whether he is receiving medical treatment or what is happening to him."
Abraham made the posts on the social media platform in Hebrew and English. He then uploaded a video with a masked settler whom he claims to be one of the individuals who attacked Ballal's village, adding that "they continued to attack American activists, breaking their car with stones. Hamdan’s location is still unknown."

The elimination took place overnight during a strike in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

"The ICRC strongly decries the attack against its premises," the organization said in a statement.
The attack has a direct impact on the ICRC's ability to operate, it said.
The ICRC did not blame any party for the attack.
