IDF arrests terrorists behind killing of Israeli soldier Ido Baruch
A few days ago, the Shin Bet located the apartment where the terrorists who killed IDF Staff-Sgt. Ido Baruch were hiding.
The IDF captured two terrorists early Monday morning on suspicion of carrying out the shooting attack in which St.-Sgt. Ido Baruch was killed last October.
Baruch, a soldier in the Givati Brigade, was shot by terrorists near the Shavei Shomron settlement in Samaria.
Last week, the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), together with the IDF, located the apartment where the terrorists were hiding.
What happened when Israeli forces tracked down the terrorists?
A Palestinian was killed in armed clashes with Israeli forces when the two terrorists, Obkamel Ghori and Osama Tawil, were captured in Nablus early Monday morning, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.
Tawil and Ghori were wounded during the clashes, the IDF said. No Israelis were hurt.
Heavy gunfire could be heard in footage reportedly from the scene published by Palestinian media outlets.
Three other suspects were detained in the raid, and two M-16 rifles suspected to have been used by the terrorists were confiscated.“The soldiers raided the apartment where the terrorists were hiding in the heart of Nablus, and when the terrorists opened fire at them, the soldiers responded by opening fire and neutralizing them and detaining them,” Golani Reconnaissance Unit Capt. Yonatan Ron said.
