Soldiers with disabilities recruiting for the war effort
Soldiers with disabilities in the "Gdolim Bemadim" ("Special in Uniform") program, which aims to integrate them into the IDF, were brought to Diplomat's factory in the Airport City to pack thousands of food and toiletry products donated by the company for soldiers at the front. In the meantime, Rabbi Mandy Blintzky, CEO of the association, told them, "Your brothers and friends, the soldiers, are at war. Anyone who puts these sweets and snacks in a carton is like firing a missile at Hamas and helping our soldiers. You are all now part of the war effort."
"Gdolim Bemadim" is a program of the 'Yad for a Special Child' association, which integrates young people into the army in various fields according to each soldier's abilities. These young people come to the base daily, work like other soldiers, and socially integrate into society. The program is a joint project with JNF-USA.
