Kan also reported that the dining hall is used mainly by those who are working for the Be'eri Printing Press.

For the first time since the Hamas massacre on October 7, Kibbutz Be’eri’s dining hall reopened on Monday, KAN News reported.

The dining hall is used mainly by those who are working for the Be’eri printing press, which reopened on October 15, the report said.

Kibbutz Be’eri is situated about four kilometers from the Gaza Strip. More than 100 of its residents were murdered during the terrorist attack.

Printing Press reopening

Ben Suchman, the director of the printing press, told Maariv it “aims to promote change and optimism to pursue a brighter future.”

Noor Pakhtsiarez, a worker at the printing press, said: “We understood that the kibbutz’s recovery would be a lengthy process. We quickly realized that the factory was going to be the key to relaunching the kibbutz. Fortunately, the factory was not damaged. A week after the tragic events, we were back.”
