While in Qalqilya, Palestinians threw stones, explosives, and Molotov cocktails at forces, who responded with gunfire, resulting in injuries. 

The IDF, Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), and Border Police arrested 19 suspected terrorists in the West Bank overnight Friday, including nine Hamas members, it was reported Saturday.

Arrests in the West Bank

Since the Hamas massacre on October 7, Israeli security forces have arrested some 1,560 suspected West Bank terrorists, including 940 affiliated with Hamas.

During overnight arrests in Beit Fajar in Gush Etzion, security forces also seized three unlicensed firearms. In a town in the Menashe Regional Council, a hunting weapon was seized. Israeli forces responded to gunfire during the operation and neutralized the attackers.

In Beit Umar near Hebron, soldiers confiscated an M16 rifle, a Carlo submachine gun, and a handgun and made arrests. In Anata, Yatta and Kalkilya, security forces seized weapons and other military equipment.

In Kalkilya, Palestinians threw stones, explosives, and Molotov cocktails at troops who responded with gunfire, resulting in some injuries.
