Yitzhak Goldknopf

Yitzhak Goldknopf is an Israeli lawmaker who leads the ultra-Orthodox United Torah Judaism Party as the head of its hassidic half, Agudat Yisrael, and is the country's current construction and housing minister.

A member of the Gur hassidic dynasty, Goldknopf has also been very public in his views regarding the role of Shabbat, the Jewish Sabbath, in Israeli society.
