As demand grows for kosher travel options, more European hotels are providing kosher dining, eliminating the need to pack canned goods for observant travelers leaving their home country.

Do you want to fly abroad but are embarrassed to take kosher food with you? You are not alone. In recent years, the number of families keeping kosher has increased, and as a result, more and more hotels on the continent are offering solutions for the religious crowd.

Israel has a high number of kosher eaters even outside the religious community. Those people often give up part of the experience of the trip, when they settle for eating vegetables or dry products that they carried with them from Israel. Now, Israir has started marketing vacation packages in a number of destinations where there are hotels and serving kosher breakfasts in the hotels' designated restaurant.

For example, at the neighboring Hilton Grad hotel in downtown Budapest, you can order a package that includes breakfast at the dairy restaurant in the hotel called Tel Aviv, in Burgas at the Europa Hotel you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel restaurant Little Israel, in Varna at the International Hotel at the hotel restaurant Tahina you can order in addition to a meal Breakfast will also have a kosher dinner in Tbilisi at the Gallery Palace Hotel and in Batumi at the King Salomon Hotel they will serve you kosher breakfasts.Average price for vacation packages in one of the above destinations for 3 nights including a kosher breakfast is $499. In addition, at the International Borna Hotel you can also order a kosher dinner for an additional fee of $50 per person.

Hila Hermolin Ronan, Israir's Vice President of Marketing and Sales: "The market of kosher observant people who have spent the last few years abroad and are interested in kosher food without having to carry it from home, has grown significantly, which led us to look for solutions in order to create an easier and more pleasant vacation experience for these customers. We offer a vacation abroad with a kosher breakfast in a number of hotels with which we have agreements. The meals are prepared in the hotel by chefs and under the supervision of a kosher supervisor, similar to hotels in Israel."
