Overnight, Israel Air Force warplanes struck Hezbollah targets in Lebanon's capital of Beirut, the military said on Thursday.
Among the targets embedded within civilian infrastructure were command centers and military infrastructure.
Prior to the strike, the military said it had taken steps to avoid harming civilian populations, such as issuing evacuation warnings.
