Outgoing Defense Minister Yoav Gallant met on Thursday with Defense Ministry officials, Israeli media reported, after he was fired by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday.
"Under your leadership, the Defense Ministry carried out a long series of tasks, all of which can be described as 'unprecedented,'" Director General of the ministry, Maj. -Gen. (Res.) Eyal Zamir was quoted as saying.
