Israel Police arrested a man in his 20s, on Saturday morning, suspected of stealing a Magen David Adom Ambulance from a hospital in Jerusalem, the police and Israeli media reported.
Officers from the Harel Police Station in the Jerusalem District identified the ambulance while driving in a town near Jerusalem, blocked it, signaled the driver to stop. Ignoring the signal, the driver continued toward Highway 1 and hit a police car.
After hitting the police car, the suspect allegedly fled the scene. After a short foot chase, the suspect was apprehended and arrested.
