Ashdod Port is vital to the Israeli economy's ability to continue functioning. As such, the port continues operating around the clock despite the emergency, emphasizing the personal safety of each employee at the port.
"We are working hard to unload cargo with food products, goods and produce for the Israeli market to ensure the population has enough supplies," the company said in a release.
