The Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel invites the public to take a break this weekend and reconnect with nature through free guided tours and activities across the country.

The recent rainfall serves as a reminder that autumn is in full swing, a season when we would typically be traveling. However, the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel encourages everyone to take a break and spend a few hours immersed in nature with guided tours and activities.

Last week, the society organized five free trips, which attracted over a thousand participants. This week, they have expanded the initiative by offering nine trips, all aimed at providing people with a light respite, a chance to rejuvenate and breathe in fresh air.

The activities will take place in various locations, including Nahal Shurk, Aloni Yitzchak, Ein Gedi, Nahal Tzipori, Ein Kerem, Emek al-Emadim in Jerusalem, the South Jordan, and the Sharon coast. All activities and tours will be held in designated green areas according to the Home Front Command's defense map.

Dan Alon, CEO of the Society for the Protection of Nature, emphasizes the importance of taking time to reconnect with nature during these challenging times. He invites the Israeli public to enjoy a few hours surrounded by the beauty of Israeli landscapes, blossoms, and birdlife, all while finding solace and sanity in the healing power of nature. A few hours spent in nature can do wonders for our well-being and help us rejuvenate, making it even more important to embrace nature, especially now.
