Gigi Hadid spreads false claims of organ harvesting by Israel
The pro-Palestinian model continues her campaign of defamation, incitement, and hatred against Israel, sharing an old video falsely alleging that Israel harvests Palestinian organs for donation.
If there were any doubts about Gigi Hadid's role in the Hadid family's anti-Israel agenda, her recent actions dispel them. Engaging actively in spreading misinformation, she added to the poison machine that misguides millions of social media followers with biased narratives.
Following her recent story where she falsely accused Israel of holding children as prisoners of war, claiming Israel has been involved in heinous acts against Palestinians, she now amplifies an old video alleging organ harvesting in Israel.
A video was shared the Instagram account of user Umme Murtaza that claimed that "Israeli authorities have been harvesting organs from dead Palestinians for years without their consent."
The segment is from Orli Vilnai and Guy Maroz's investigation program from a decade ago, discussing practices at the Institute of Forensic Medicine. An interview with Professor Mayra Weiss, a critic of the Institute, mentions the customary organ retrieval for donation, including from Palestinians and foreign workers.
The video, taken out of context, aimed to portray organ harvesting without consent, but the Health Ministry, supporting the investigation, denied awareness of such practices. Changes in the Forensic Medicine Institute's management and procedures were implemented over the years, nevertheless, this old, unverified segment was manipulated for propaganda against Israel.
Yadin Gelman, an actor injured in battle, criticized Gigi Hadid and those embracing lies without evidence. He highlighted Israel's evidence of atrocities, emphasizing the absurdity of Hadid's video gaining global attention.
When encountering false and inflammatory content against Israel, avoid sharing or engaging with it. Reporting such material is the appropriate response, preventing further exposure to harmful content.
