Memory improvement is like a exercising a muscle, and by doing it right, one can unlock the full potential of the brain, memory researcher Itay Aniel claimed in an interview with Sarah Ben-Nun on The Jerusalem Post Podcast.

Aniel specializes in memory optimization and brain training,  which means teaching people ways to increase their memory capabilities and cognitive functions.

He claims all the methods he shares are all backed by science and are designed to "unlock the full potential of the brain."

Can the brain's full potential be unlocked?

Part of the way Aniel does this is through what he calls "the brain gym."

"Just like a physical gym where people go to strengthen their bodies, I wanted to create a space where people could exercise and strengthen their minds," Aniel said. "The brain gym is designed for anyone looking to improve their memory and cognitive skills, from students and professionals to seniors who want to maintain their mental sharpness as they age."

According to Aniel, there are over 100 memory strengthening techniques and strategies that everyone can learn, and the more you use them, the more you can strengthen your own memory.

"It's a continuous process of learning and applying techniques that can over time lead us to better memory and overall brain function," he explained.

With the methods that he teaches and researches, Aniel said he hopes to help more people improve their memories and overall brain power.

"My goal is to empower people to take control of their cognitive skills and unlock their full potential," he said.
