Brand news: Jazz-inspired fashion, glass skin, and a Hanukkah menorah of hope
The latest innovations from leading brands: Jazz-inspired fashion, sustainable style, glass skin, cozy pajamas, a Hanukkah menorah dedicated to hostages, gluten-free breads, giant pizza, and more.
Musical Fashion
The H&M Studio collection is like the fashion world’s star student—always one step ahead, always knowing the right answer. Since its debut in 2013, this collection, designed at H&M’s creative headquarters in Stockholm, has consistently impressed. It's a limited and refined collection, much like that friend who leaves you wondering if they’re more stylish or simply brilliant—but one thing’s certain: you can't imagine life without them.
Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor and Head of Women’s Design at H&M, explains: “H&M Studio collections always feature fashion essentials like tailoring, denim, and evening wear, reinvented to feel fresh and modern. We've refined this formula with pieces designed to make you feel polished, put-together, and comfortable.”
The collection blends comfort with boldness, offering a fresh take on wardrobe staples. Think soft suits, a trench coat, cozy knits, a sheer blouse, an oversized XL bag for a pragmatic cool vibe, leather gloves, oversized sunglasses exuding feminine power, and statement jewelry.
Linda Wikell, Concept Designer at H&M Studio, elaborates: “We created a collection that balances creativity with classic essentials. Inspired by jazz pioneers, we applied their improvisational techniques to fashion. The result is a collection of reimagined classics—smart, versatile pieces that transition effortlessly from day to night, blending masculine and feminine elements with effortless style.”
The collection emphasizes high-quality materials, featuring responsibly sourced cashmere and merino wool, organic cotton, and recycled polyester and fleece in fabrics, with recycled steel and zinc used in jewelry and sunglasses.
When Fragrance Meets Glamour
When Giorgio Armani Beauty launches something new, it's an invitation to feel like a million dollars—even if it’s just a spritz of perfume or a touch of gloss. This time, the iconic brand delivers a perfect blend of elegance and glamour, making even your daily routine feel like a runway.
The iconic lip products Lip Maestro and Lip Power usher in a new era with Prisma Glass—a gloss featuring innovative oil technology for volume and shine. The formula contains 62% shine-enhancing ingredients and 25% nourishing components, including 15% squalane to strengthen the skin’s natural barrier. The series includes nine translucent shades, from crystal-clear to pink, caramel, coral, and cherry.
The brand’s iconic fragrance for women, Sì, introduces Passione e.d.p. Intense—a scent celebrating the power of “yes,” passion, freedom, love, and self-expression. Dedicated to women who follow their hearts, the fragrance, crafted by perfumer Julie Massé, features jasmine, pear, bergamot, blackcurrant, thyme, and Bourbon vanilla infusion.
The refillable red flacon bottle underscores the brand's commitment to sustainability, supporting environmental initiatives like Acqua for Life, which addresses water scarcity and combats climate change.
Israeli Innovation in Beauty
The glass skin trend that captivated Korea has gone global. Israeli beauty pioneer Mimi Luzon introduces the Legendary Glow Glass Cream, a cutting-edge formula designed to enhance skin texture and reduce wrinkles with immediate and long-term results. The cream features active ingredients like Alguronic extract, mimicking Botox effects, kakadu plum, lotus extract, tea tree oil, and vitamin C for improved skin texture.
This year, Luzon will also relaunch her luxury gold product line. Additionally, she has opened a new state-of-the-art clinic at the Wix campus in Tel Aviv, offering personalized advanced aesthetic treatments—a significant milestone for a brand that began 30 years ago in a home clinic in Petah Tikva.
Mimi Luzon explains: “This past year has shown us there is no place like home. Our new clinic symbolizes our commitment to deepening our roots in Israel and shifting most of our production to local facilities. Our vision is to provide comprehensive, personalized solutions for everyone, tailored to their unique needs.”
Pajamas That Shine
Pajamas prove you can stay stylish even in “not today” mode. ZOHARA, a brand known for tights, socks, shapewear, and swimwear, expands its collection with cozy pajamas. The flannel collection features masculine cuts with large pockets in plaid prints and shades of denim and black. The updated jersey line offers solid designs with wide pants and button-down shirts, some with fine white piping, in gray, brown, black, cream, cappuccino, and soft pink.
Born Again
Bodysuits have long been the “on my way to the gym” look, even if you're not actually heading there. Enter Saisei—Japanese for “rebirth”—a brand committed to high environmental standards.
Specializing in lifestyle apparel, Saisei offers seamless technology for eco-friendly, high-quality fabrics. Nearly 100% of the fabric composition comes from recycled materials, including nylon waste, fishing nets, and post-industrial components.
The collection includes tops, shirts, leggings, bikini and thong underwear, bralettes, and bras, all in matching shades to their activewear line.
Light of Hope
The Beton Bakery studio presents the Or Habayta Hanukkah menorah, symbolizing the festival's light and the hope for the return of hostages. The menorah, featuring a prominent yellow ribbon, is crafted from Alpha—an acrylic material resembling concrete. Created in collaboration with Israeli artists from Rainbow Art and MODELOX, it costs NIS 250, with 10% of sales donated to the Hostage Families Headquarters.
Studio owner Hila Ben-Ami explains: “The ‘Or Habayta’ menorah symbolizes hope, unity, and faith in the return of the hostages. We created it to express our collective hope, much like the Hanukkah miracle.”
Gourmet Gluten-Free
If you think gluten-free bread tastes like cardboard, think again. The culinary site Carmela launches Gluterya—an artisanal gluten-free bakery led by Chef Eran Zino. The bakery offers breads and pastries that delight even those with allergies or celiac disease.
The collection includes African bread, Greek yogurt bread, teff bread, walnut and chia sourdough, brioche kastan, seeded sourdough, ciabatta rolls, pretzel buns, and granola—available frozen and sliced.
Bigger Is Better
For those who believe pizza is the answer to almost everything, Pizza Hut introduces the Giant Pizza. Its size makes tables look small, hunger vanish, and friends gather. Made with thin crust and mozzarella, it comes in an oversized box—a gimmick in itself. The pizza is available for pickup only—you wouldn’t want the delivery driver to topple over!
Gilad Ventura, VP of Sales: "We are excited to introduce a pizza that offers a fresh and innovative culinary concept in both size and gimmick—exactly what our customers are looking for. We take pride in being pioneers in delivering unique solutions."
Tea Time Meets Cookies
Some things are meant to be together, like tea and cookies. Pompadour introduces a cinnamon cookie-flavored tea with a rich aroma. Hurry—it’s a limited edition! Also available: New York Chai with honey, vanilla, and lemon flavors.
Merba Israel, the importer of the iconic “37” chocolate chip cookie, launches Cookies & Cream—chocolate chip and hazelnut cookies filled with vanilla cream. Additionally, the brand offers Café Noir—crisp biscuits with 1% premium coffee, coated in caramel and sugar glaze, produced by Van Delft, a traditional Dutch bakery founded in 1880.
